Sienna Gave small hum to the tune she was listening to. Wearing her jeans and a low cut T-shirt, she decided to get out of the main city and spend the day exploring. Except the day had passed and it was now early evening. She mouthed the words to her song, Walking at the same pace as the beat. Her vans hitting the gravel as she continued. Hills were bad to walk up, but she spent most of her time out doors, so it didn’t really matter anyway. She flipped her blonds pony tail over her shoulder, Stopping suddenly at the sight of a small bunny in her path. Her eye shone as she saw it, must be out to feed. She gave a small smile, turning off her ipod for a second she pulled the head phones out and watched it. It hadn’t moved. A frown splayed over her face. Normally the Bunnies ran away form the human. She took a curious step towards it. It still didn’t5 move. Bending down she scooped it up into her arms, tittering as it tried to struggle. Poor thing looked like it had a broken leg. Well, she couldn’t just leave it there could she? The foxes would eat it “Poor Darling, I’ll take you home with me” she said quietly stroking in-between it’s ears. She looked up for a moment, it would take another hour at least to get to the end of this path, and 2 hours to get home. Did she want to risk losing her new found bunny friend?
Sienna bit down on her lip softly. Weighing up the options, she gave up and continued onwards, stopping monetarily to look tat everything. She was carring the creature in her arms, talking to it softly, it seemed to be calming down thank god. Sienna gave a small smile taking up a quick jog, trying to keep a steady beat. Her hair flew out behind her and she gave a small laugh. Out here she could do what she wanted and no one cared, nature listened to her, not much else did though. Panting a little, she could feel her blood pumping steadily through her body. Making mental notes to find a job and finish unpacking her house. As she came to a clearing at the end of a path, she looked up at the sun in awe, the moon was full and yellow. Rini gave a small smile, nuzzling the bunnies cheek “Look, Look at all the stars” she whispered, feeling a suddenly chill...Like someone was here, watching her…

Alastair was sitting high in the trees wearing nothing but black. Black pants, black shirt, black shoes, black jacket with the hood pulled over his head, pressing his bangs against his pale green eyes. This was one of those nights where he felt truly lonely. He wanted more than anything to be with Carine, but they had been together so much that they really did need some time apart. His eyes were only half open, staring blankly in front of him at the swaying tree branches. A horribly sick feeling twisted in the pit of his stomach. Against Carine's pushing, he hadn't eaten at all in the past four days. Basically, he was starving himself. His normally healthy looking body seemed bony and pale now. Alastair was just never hungry. A problem he's had to deal with since childhood.
Because he was blind, Alastair's hearing was now almost as sharp as a dog's, allowing him to hear the tiniest voices and sounds from the ground even though he was nearly fifteen feet in the air, leaning against the thick tree trunk. His eyes flicked open completely as he heard a girl's voice. He slipped down the branches with swift cat-like movements. He dropped silently to the ground and hid in the shadows. A mortal... He thought, A female... running his tongue along his sharp fangs. He hadn't had any blood in such a long time, adding to his pale complex and making him look like a phantom. His eyes glowed in the shadows, reflecting the stars.

Sienna hugged her bunny to her chest, ignoring her gut feeling. Why should she listen? It’s not like anything was going to happen to her, she was at the end of a walking track at night. Doubtful anything was going to happen. This bunny was going to be called….Um…..Roofie. ‘Coz it was a cute name and the bunny was cute looking. She gave a small giggled and sat down gently in the grass, before lying downwards in the grass, placing the bunny on her chest, it just sniffed at her nose. Sienna gave a small laugh and stroked it’s back with two fingers while her other arm was behind her head. She was in no hurry to get back tonight, Infact she thought this place was pretty safe. She still had that uneasy feeling, like someone was watching her, not that she knew he was blind. Night fall had finally set, she looked at the moon, it was big, but not quite full yet. She gave a happy sigh. She loved nature, she loved animals. She was vegetarian for gods sake! “Look Roofie” she said quietly, not caring that she was talking to a rabbit that was falling asleep on her chest “Look at all the stars and how they twinkle!” she muttered again, having a feeling she’d be saying that a lot tonight. Sienna was as harmless as a pussycat without claws and you either loved her, or you hated it...That’s how it had been her whole life...She just accepted it now.
Hearing the bunny snore she smiled at looked back up at the moon. She wondered where her parents were, if she was going to fit into this strange new town, what sort of people lived here, where Jake was, what kind of job she could get seeing as she failed some exams. Typical teenage girl stuff. Running her fingers through her own hair gently she shut her eyes, listening to the sound of the wind, it was so…Peaceful up here, she’d make a note to come up more often. Then there was that faint feeling again, she opened her eyes once more, catching a slight glinting, just like a star, only it was at ground level and it wasn’t very far away. She gave a small gasp and lifted her legs, making Roofie fall off her chest. She calmed him quickly and sat cross leggered on the ground, watching the glinting before realizing it was a pair of eyes, belong into to someone with extremely pale, gaunt looking skin. Sienna gave a little muffled noise “Is…Is Someone there?” she asked softly, her gaze never leaving what she could see.

Alastair stared at the unknown person. She seemed happy. Yay for happy people and their happy little lives. Her question made Alastair sneer. " Yes...I'm here..." His voice came out in a low hiss. " So...You can see me...Or did you hear me?" He stepped out of the darkness, his pale skin seemed even whiter in the bright moonlight.
" So what brings you here? Out for a stroll?" He asked in a quiet voice. He pulled the hood of his jacket down, revealing his raven-colored hair. Slowly he walked closer to her, a sly smile never faltering off of his face. " And don't answer that question by saying ' Well what were you doing out here?'. I belong here. I'm always in these woods." His voice was almost in a whisper, faint and tired due to his frequent insomnia. Dark circles were under his pale eyes, making him appear as if her were dead. " Besides...I don't have anywhere else where I can just relax..."

Katrina yawned, stretched out cat-like on her back, fed, exercised and now relaxing. She smiled slightly, staring up at the canopy of the trees. Since she'd spoken to Callic and (in childish terms) made up with him, she'd felt better, so much better in fact, she'd gone out for a walk and was ok for Jac to zip off on his own. The vampiress yawned again, pushing herself into a sitting position. Any other time, she'd have felt vunerable, but it's amazing how one chat with someone you trusted, admired and loved could put you in a good mood. She was also considering on taking up Callic's offer of moving in with him, though she hadn't run it past Jac. She stood, stretching out and brushing herself down looked around.
Suddenly she became accutely aware of an aura, a vampiric aura. So, out of curiousity, she started towards it. Not that she was bold or anything, her footsteps were far too tentitive for that, but she was curious, and although she knew some of her kind where hostile to even their own kindred, she thought she might as well go and see. So, walking slowly, her hands in her rather battered pair of jeans, she increased her awareness. She straightened her jacket and shirt out, then rubbed the creases out of the denim, after all, first impressions meant a lot. So, she continued, already forming her first sentance and introduction in her head.

Sienna took in a deep shivery breath. Watching as the male stepped forwards, from what she could see, he was to thin and extremely pale. His eyes were very pale and his skin was even whiter, it didn’t help that moonlight was shining on him. Sienna wasn’t scared.. well not that scared, after all, she had no idea what he was doing here. Catching his sneer she shifted uncomfortably. She seemed to be on the ground a lot lately. Shivering as he hissed and hugged her new bunny rabbit closer. “I Was only asking” she mumbled, avoiding eye contact “And I saw you, well I saw your eyes first” she stuttered out. Scrambling up so she was standing now. Looking at Alistair s he held out a hand, trying to be friendly “I’m Sienna” she said brightly. Not picking up on the fact that maybe he didn’t want to be nice.
Biting softly on her lip, she looked at his hair, oh it was all pretty and raven like, in fact the boy himself was quite pretty like. “Actually” she mused “I was walking, then I found the bunny and I came up here, I didn’t think anyone else was here” she apologized, scanning his face as he stepped closer, she took a small shuffle backwards. “You look tired” she commented stiffly, actually, he looked dead, but she wasn’t going to say that. Looking at him, she almost felt as if he was looking past her, into her soul instead of just at her, not that she minded. She wasn’t a bad person and Sienna always helped when she could.
“Are you alright?” she asked worriedly, suddenly diverting her attention as thought she saw something move through the bushes, ignoring it she shrugged and looked back towards Alistair,. Watching him…he looked a little like Jake...No, No thoughts of Jake! With a small sigh she leant back against a tree “And what do you mean you have no where else to relax”

" And I was just answering." He said in a dry voice. He looked at the ground. Of course she saw his eyes first, when people saw him, the very first things they always noticed were his eyes. His pale, milky green eyes. He looked back up at her face, not reacting at all to her hand, after all, he couldn't see it. " Sienna...That's a lovely name..." He muttered truthfully. He smiled. " I'm Alastair." He paused. " Hey, what nationality is your name?" He asked quietly. " Just out of curiosity." His name was Scottish. His parents were after all born in Scotland, and he himself knew a little Gaelic; the native language in his homeland.
Alastair continued to stare at her with a haunting gaze. " I am tired...I don't sleep much." He muttered, looking around. He was feeling another vampiric presence around them. Who knew the woods were so popular these days. His eyes trailed back to hers. He tilted his head to the side a bit as she stepped away. Was she afraid of him? Well, he would be afraid of himself. Pale, creepy eyes, raspy, quiet voice. That would make anyone nervous if they were alone with him in the woods. Feeling the vampire come closer he whirled around in the direction of where the person was coming from. " Hey...Do you feel that?" He whispered, staring into the deep forest.
Alastair glanced back at her. " What, do I look sick or something." He paused and chuckled lightly. " Never mind, don't answer that question, I always look pale and sickly like this." His smile quickly faded. He glanced down. " Well, the forest is the only place where I don't really have to worry about things. At least as long as its not the night of the full moon. I stay home when there's a full moon out." He shrugged and looked around uneasily. The presence was starting to bug him, he needed to know who this person was.

Katrina sighed, then, eventually walked in on them, biting her lip, frowning. A mortal and a vampire? She leant against a tree and watched them, biting harder, when the girl introduced herself. Although she didn't want to think it, the vampire looked ill, even on vampire standards, almost starved. Originally when she looked at the girl, she thought she was wasting her time talking. Think that all she was to that vampire was food, but he was answering, almost she thought, in vague curiousity and politeness.
The vampiress turned her head as Jac appeared, not loudly, but not quietly either. She bit her lip, deciding it was best to stay here, she didn't want the vampire to think she was interested in his meal, deffinately now because of his reaction. She was interested, and on hearing Sienna talk about her 'bunny' made Katrina warm to the girl as she had always been a strong animal lover. So, Katrina watched, slightly startled over the vampire's friendly attitude.

Sienna nodded and gave a small “Oh, ok”. He didn’t have to be so cold, it’s not like she was asking him to tell her his life story. The again, his life may not have been perfect like she guessed hers was. Ish! She need to stop trying to think about everyone else’s problems. Chewing her lower lip softly she pulled her hand back. Well he wasn’t very friendly was she? Letting her eyes drop over him, the mortal stroked her bunnies ears. “Thank you, This is Roofie” she said chirpily, holding up the bunny for him to see. She didn’t know her was blind. “Alastair? It’s nice to meet you” she said politely. She was oblivious to the fact he was a vampire, she didn’t believe in them and also oblivious that he couldn’t see, a tall. Did the boy just smile? Sienna let out her own little grin, he looked friendly when he smiled. “Nationality ?Um...Well It’s Latin and it means Tender” she said , pausing to think, she knew form when she was younger, it kinda suited her, with all the tender loving care she always gave out.
Confused as he seemed to look into the trees she followed his gaze. The girl gave a small nod “Do you work a night shift or something?” she asked, thinking that must be why he didn’t sleep very much. Silly blond, didn’t know who she was talking to. He seemed pretty friendly really, not as snide as he had at first, juts talking like they’d known each other for a while. It made her smile. “So you like the forest then?” she asked enthusiastically. Sienna in general just loved animals and nature, she was a strict vegetarian (would be Vegan but loved cheese), as you could tell by the bunny. She was gong to have to strap his foot and put him in a play pen on some pillows. She had to admit, she felt something, what it was she didn’t know. “Um…I don’t know” came out kinda like a question, if it was what she was feeling then yes, if not , well then no.
She gave a weak grin “Just a tad” . She nodded and smiled at Alastair “I know what you mean, it’s peaceful and hardly anyone’s ever here, that’s why I came tonight” Apart from the fact that she wanted to have a good crying session as well. Looking back towards the darkening foliage , the mortal girl frowned and took a few steps towards it. Not really hearing what the Vampire said. But everyone here was scared of a full moon, god knows why. Before turning back, she spotted a girl , not looking much older then herself. “Hey, You don’t have to hide” she said softly, not making any move to walk towards her. Looking back at Alastair she giggled “I think what you felt Was her?” she asked, pointing in the general direction. Now if she knew she was surrounded by vampires, she would have screamed, but she didn’t...So it was alright..

" Roofie?" He rose an eyebrow, but didn't say anything else. He sighed a bit and stared at the ground. Apparently in the dim lighting, Sienna hadn't noticed. " You know I'm blind, right? I can't see anything you do or what's around me...All I can see is the soul of any living creature and how pure it is." His smile quickly faded. It was unusual for Alastair to smile at all, especially around strangers, so anyone who could get him to smile like that must have been very special. " Tender?...Cool...I don't really remember, but I think someone told me once that my name meant protector." He shrugged lightly. Unlike Sienna, his name didn't suit him well. He's never had anyone that he had to protect from any real danger, only himself. But he was sure that if the time came, he would definitely protect someone with all he had.
Alastair rose his eyebrows again. " Um...No. Not exactly. I have very frequent insomnia..." He muttered. " I don't even have a real job, when I need money I work. My brother just gave me a check for a LOT of money, so I'll be fine for a while." A little moth flew between them and Alastair easily caught it in his bony hands. He examined it out of boredom for a moment then let it fly away in a sudden gust of wind. Ever since he was a child, he had always loved catching animals and bugs, then just let it go. He looked at her. " I love the forest, I spend most of my time outdoors." The vampiric presence surrounding them was now much stronger, and driving Alastair crazy. Without warning he jumped back into the dark shadows of the trees and made his way to Katrina. When he was close to her, he jumped up into the high trees, leaping from branch to branch until he was right above her. Slowly he dangled down by his legs until he was staring at the back of her head. " Can I help you?" He asked quietly into her ear. He was sure that he had snuck up on her undetected. Unless she had the same type of ability he did, the ability to see souls. His goal was to startle her, in his mind, freaking people out was fun. With his pale complexion and bony structure, people normally thought he was scary. That's what he liked.

Katrina yawned and glanced down at her pocket, where Jac, who had found his way there without her knowledge, now she knew he was there. Although he said she should be careful, she ignored his warnings and leant back on the trunk, she was more interested in the vampire, he looked half starved and yet, he showed no signs of feeding. She yawned again and rested her head back and closed her eyes.
When he whispered in her ear, she jumped, turned to look at him and burst into a fit of giggles. "No..." she managed to splutter, "I'm fine, just out for a walk...." She stepped back then turned completely, her hand flying to her pocket, stiffling the glow and pinning the ball to her hip, "Well, I was..."
