Wasn't school normal? And what did she mean by 'profession'? A small smile crossed his lips at what Rome said. " Heh, it's okay. I always ramble on and on about all sorts of junk. I really shouldn't be telling a complete stranger all this personal stuff, but whatever. I'm just a chatterbox if no one shuts me up in time." He chuckled lightly.
" I know, I shouldn't judge like that. Or worry so much. I just can't trust many people anymore. Believe me, if you've been through all the crap I've been through, I'd don't think you'd trust many people either." He brought his elbows to the table and rested his chin in his hands. " You mean Rose? I thought she was with Domonic...But then again I'm always the one who's last updated on relationships in Velcora. Come to think of it, I've seen her with Gabriel. Is that who you're talking about?"

Seeing the slight confusion of Alastair Rome shakes her head a little. "My sister and I were taught at home by our parents. We were told all about the 'other world', as my mum called it. As for the training stuff..we were trained how to kill the creatures of the 'otherworld'...my family is one of the best lines of slayers there arem, and I was the best in my family, even becoming the leade of an elite group of slayers. But that was before I became a lycan, now I've never even dream of killing another unless it was necessery. I don't want to be known as slayer, I'm just a normal lycan with an unfortunate past".
Glancing out the window quickly, then back to Alastair she smiles a little. "So her name is Rose. Hmm, pehapes I should go to meet her, the Myle Coven is small in number and it would be nice to have some kind of backup if we should get into any trouble and I really don't want to go to the demon coven, that place scares me silly, but then again going to the Vadarth Coven will probably be no better. I'd feel so uncomfortable going there alone".::

" Oh. I get it now." He nodded slightly. Absentmindedly, Alastair tapped the table with his index finger. He glanced at her. " You mean demons and vampires, right? That's what she meant by creatures of the otherworld?." He looked down. " Well then, I'm glad I never ran into you back then." he smiled lightly. Slowly he rose his pale green eyes to meet hers. " Unfortunate past?..." Memories of his childhood hell flashed through his mind. Maybe she was like him, then he could relate to someone for once.
" Yeah, he name is Rose. She has a kid, too. Her name is Rowena-Gwen. In case someone there at the Coven brings her up." He shrugged. " I'm actually afraid to go to the demon coven, too. I've run into some pretty nasty demons that would kill me for sure if I set foot in that place." He smiled at her. " I'll go with you if you want. After all," He lowered his voice in case a hunter was nearby. " I am a vampire."

"Well I never actually killed many lycans or demons. My family and group focused mainly on vampires as they were the biggest problem at the time. Anyway, I don't think I would of killed you, I would of seen a blind vampire as not much of a threat, but then again I was young and didn't have much experience". "Though I could of fought you, I've always been a good fighter".
Listening to the infomation given Rome nods a little, "Good, now I know moer about the Vadarth Coven and I would accompy me on the visit, you can varify the reason for me been there, and I would feel more comfortable if a vampire came with me...would make me feel a little out of place". "I really think Carine would be lucky to have someone like you, to me you seem very caring and sincere about how you feel, but if she can't see that then it's her own fault". The seriousness of her words betrayed by a small laugh.::

" Oh." Alastair muttered then was silent for a while after that. That's how it always was, people always underestimated him because he was blind. This thought caused him to smile slightly. " That is the biggest beinfit to being blind. People aren't expecting a real fighter. I may have lost my sight, but I can still see people...or...I can see their souls, its kind of hard to explain really. But my power is equal to the leader of the Vadarth Coven." He paused. " How do you fight, do you use weapons, martial arts?" He asked, for some reason really curious to see how she fought.
" If you do go to the coven, try not to mention you're not a vampire. Yeah, they'll notice right away, but you don't need to go blabbing it. There are some people there who wouldn't really like you. And try not to get in peoples' way. I don't want to sound bossy or anything, but like I said, there are some nasty people there." He shrugged lightly. Another small smile creeped up the corners of his lips. " If anyone's lucky, its me. It's not often you find a girl like Carine, she doesn't care that I'm blind, or that I'm a vampire...There are some other things about me that would probably annoy or creep out other people...But I don't want to bore you with the details." He added in a quiet voice.

"I was trained to use small concealable weapons like knives and small guns, specialising in CQC (close-quaters-combat) both arme and unarmed. I wouldn't say I know proper martial arts but I can use a type of it to bring down an enemy. It's amazing how their guard goes down when they're too busy admiring your eyes". Rome laughs and smiles. "My sister on the other hand always used force and high-powered guns, they always heard her coming".
Slowly Rome shakes her head. "Al, I'm not stuped you know. I know better than to go in announcing myself as a lycan, there could be people there who may want to..harm someone of my position". Rome sits back a little, thinking. The person she had to truely protect her had left to go somewhere for a while. Without him she felt alone, having a demon around to back her up had been a good thing but she had to stop relying on others to give her strength, now it had to come from within. "Don't lose faith in yourself Al, do what you think is right, no matter what others will say". Who was she trying to convince?, herself?, Al?..perhapes both. Absentmindly Rome lifts a hand to rub the faint bruises on her neck, making a numb tingle down her spine. "You could tell me everything that you think is 'weird' about yourself, for the past year or so there hasn't been anything that could freak me out".::
